Camping Checklist - Mostly Electronic Camp Out (MECO)

 The event coordinator will organize who is bringing electronic games, TVs, extension cords, etc.

Class A Uniform (for flag ceremonies)

Boy Scout Handbook

Bedding (essentials)

·         sleeping bag

·         headrest /pillow

·         air mattress or pad or cot

Cooking and Dining (essentials)

·         mess kit or drinking cup (for hot or cold liquids) and reusable/washable plate

·         spoon, knife, fork

·         water bottle

Clothes

·         t-shirts

·         underwear

·         sweatpants and/or PJs to sleep in

·         jeans/pants

·         socks

·         shoes

·         waterproof boots or hiking shoes

·         sweater / sweat shirt

·         winter coat, waterproof

·         hat and gloves

·         laundry bag (for dirty clothes) and box of  plastic bags (for wet items)

Personal Hygiene

·         tooth brush, tooth paste

·         towel and washcloth

·         soap

·         comb/brush

·         toilet paper

·         personal medication (please let the scoutmaster know if you have any)

Miscellaneous Items (put your NAME on these!)

·         plastic sleds/discs (in case there is still snow up there)

·         camera (optional)

·         compass (needed for orienteering exercise)

·         flashlight and extra batteries

·         pocket knife (optional)

·         pen and paper

·        book to read

·        Playing Cards

·        Board games (Risk, etc)

·        Electronic gear (please have all games, handsets and cords labeled with name)
